Floratio

Formed from inspiration gathered since 2022, the series Floratio was created. It consists of three sculptures inspired by the blooming process of a plant. Moving from a leaf --> to flower bud --> to a flower in full bloom. The works incorporate details from several of my previous pieces, now brought together with the theme of growth and transformation.

Beyond visualizing the blooming process, this series also served as a material study. I explored different types of clay, coloring details using engobes, and finished the pieces with glaze. This marked the beginning of a new working method within my practice.​
